1) Get AU Boss completely moved over from CustomerHub. So the filebox and
that special Signals page. If it’s a pain to have a filebox, then just
have links under the videos for the PDFs and Tradestation code, etc.

2) Move Silver Boss so it’s a “product”. I think that will really lower
confusion. Right now it’s simply treated as just another video, which
harms it’s real value.

3) Add Futures Boss as an upsell

Ok, here is the deal with the login page… and it also was the same thing that was having an effect on the AUBoss pages and causing them to be seen. Basically, it works like this:

- If you DO NOT have a page “excerpt” then the page will not show in the site menus, etc. Unless the user has the proper tag to see it.
- If you DO have a page “excerpt” then InfuzionWP assumes that you want the page seen in menus, etc. and InfuzionWP will show it no matter what the tag. (Although the page content will not be seen if the user does not have access.)

So for the pages you want to link to directly and NOT have a 404 Page cannot be found error, and show a login page to, YOU MUST have a page excerpt.

What does that mean?

We cannot get rid of the 404 Page cannot be found error UNLESS we have a page excerpt. This means that all “products” (MDT, AUBoss, Etc.) will be visable as far as the links to the pages. However, when a user attempts to view a page, they will be presented the message that tells them the cannot access the content, as they don’t have permission.

So in order to get the member pages to display a login, when you link to them directly and the user has not logged in and not show the 404 Page can’t be found error, we must have the pages visible in the member’s area too.

Now, here is where you could REALLY benefit though, like CRAZY!!!

We can use InfuzionWP tagging to show people are logged in but don’t have access to the product (like an MDT member who did not my AUBoss but sees the link and clicks it) a “one click” upsell so they can instantly bill their credit card on file for access to that protected content, giving them instant access and you can convert more sales in the member’s area.

I think this is the best method for handling this and using this to your advantage.

When we had the troubles with the people seeing the AUBoss, they never had access to the content, they could see the page links, but if they attempted to view the content they would get the message that they did not have access. If we do what I am suggesting, they would be then offered the product with a one click upsell with some sort of text like:

“I am sorry, you have not yest purchased this product, however, if you’d like to gain instant access to this amazing program, then please click the order now button below.”

If this works for you Dan, please let me know and I will have all of your pages configured like this for you, then we can create this upsell offers for each product when a user does not have access!

I think this will do two things:

- remove any confusion, if I did not purchase something I click on to view, it will tell me I have not yet purchased that item and give me a chance to buy it with one click.
- it will allow the “members” pages to be linked to directly and then prompt the user to login if they are not yet logged in, eliminating the 404 error that is given now when a page link is clicked on and a member is not logged in.

Whew, I think that should explain it…

If you post back and let me know to proceed, I will get all the pages showing the login form now, and then we can add in the upsells in the next few days so you can get more sales!

I believe I have corrected this issue with the pages showing up on the website, without the tag. Very odd, was showing the page to the user, but NOT the content. There was a few tweaks I made and this seems to be corrected now…
